PIDP 3100 Blog - My Introduction!

Hi! Welcome to one of my first projects as a new student with VCC and the PIDP program.

I am a 35 year member of the Canadian Armed Forces, transitioning into a career in post-secondary education. My last position was Commanding Officer of the Canadian Forces Recruiting Centre, where we were responsible for the attractions, processing and enrolment of applicants from BC and the Yukon. I have a wide breadth of experience, but would say my areas of expertise are leadership, strategic planning, executive management, human resources and administration.

Oh - and you may have noticed…I also do photography. Hence why I am borrowing my site for this blog. It’s an opportunity to share some thoughts as I progress through the PIDP 3100 Foundations of Adult Education course. So nice to chat, and I will post again soon!
